The 3-Phase Monitor DSP-1L offers an affordable, high quality
solution to provide protection from phase loss, phase unbalance
and phase reversal for your motors, compressors, pumps, ventilators
or any other type of 3-phase electrical equipment. This is
a 3-to-1 monitor: Phase Loss Monitor, Phase Reversal Monitor,
Phase Unbalance Monitor.
The Controlab three phase monitor is sometimes compared to a
smart fuse or to an intelligent protection relay: it continuously
monitors the voltage level and phase-angle on each phase of
your electrical supply. If a phase failure (single phasing)
occurs, the 3-phase monitor DSP-1L will immediately open the
control circuit of the protected equipment, thus preventing
damage. When the voltage returns to normal, the three-phase
monitor DSP-1L resets itself and closes the control circuit,
allowing the protected equipment to be started normally and
safely.
Two (2) models of the Controlab 3-phase monitors are available
for your applications:
- DSP-1L : With a Triac inside, to control your magnetic
starter relay.
- DSP-1LS : With a dry relay-contact inside, to signal
a PLC or to drive a very small
electrical load
